“You’re So Cool.” Simon Cowell Raves Over 12-Yr-Old’s Remarkable “AGT” Performance.

Twelve-year-old Alfie Andrews dreams of being a superstar. His audition for “America’s Got Talent” aired just this week and, based on the reaction of the judges and audience, he’s well on his way! From the moment Alfie took to the stage, he commanded attention from everyone in the room. Simon Cowell even took note of how cool he looked —which may or may not have something to do with the fact that they were dressed quite similarly.

Alfie did admit, when asked, that he was nervous. But you’d never know it based on the way he absolutely nailed his audition! He chose to sing “Hold My Hand” by Lady Gaga, a song that allowed him to show off the power and range of his voice. The performance left everyone in the room in awe!

“The people are going to remember you, and they’re going to root for you, and you’re so cool,” Cowell said. “I just can’t get over that.”

Needless to say, this is just the start of Alfie’s “AGT” journey.

“My audition on America’s Got Talent, it means a lot, ’cause it’s always been my dream to become a singer so I can record my own songs and have a sell-out tour,” Alfie told NBC.

Although he’s not selling out tours quite yet, he did get a taste of what it will be like at his audition — after his stunning performance, the audience went wild.

“How amazing was that?” Cowell asked Alfie backstage, just after his audition. “Look at that? It’s America and they’re all chanting your name.”
